You will analyze how construction costs are currently estimated across different design phases and translate this approach into a structured and standardized model.
Specifically, you will map cost parameters and design data, develop a conceptual model, and further refine it into a functional prototype. In addition, you will define the minimum input required for each design phase and determine how cost estimation can be integrated with graphical design documents. Based on testing with real cases, you will formulate recommendations to ensure the tool can be effectively implemented in the firm’s daily operations.
