What is the main activity of students during the summer in Belgium? Festivals! Many people do not
realise that a festival is more than just drinking, expensive tickets, crowded places, an audience and
a stage with a band. Do not forget about the build-up of the stage, the suppliers of food and drinks,
logistics, volunteers, budgeting, pricing and everything happening backstage, such as security. These
are just a few areas where decisions have a crucial impact on the success of the festival. Is more
always better? Are the increasing prices just a logic decision or is there a strategy behind it? On

entrepreneurs of the supporting firms. Be sure to look at our Facebook page to be updated on

follow us on Facebook to be updated on the speakers and location!

Sustainability. Probably the most popular word nowadays in mission, vision and value statements.
Yet, does anybody know what ‘sustainability’ really means? Why are firms currently focussing so
hard on the integration of sustainability? What is the influence of our government on this new
concept? And what firms take the lead when it comes to sustainability: the established firms or the
start-ups? All these questions will be answered at Sustainability Forum on November 14. Thanks to
the close cooperation between AFD and AFC, we manage to offer a wide variety of readings,
keynotes and interesting firms. This way every student will find something of his/her interest.
When we hear the word “Entrepreneur”, we think most of the times about icons like Marc Coucke,
Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs, … Their stories feed our imagination to such extent which
